As a child, I preferred walking around the house upside down and doing cartwheels on the school playground with the girls in my class. I did boys' gymnastics and later acrogym, and around the age of 16, I was introduced to circus-style partner acrobatics. During this time, I also met other young people from the youth circus, which helped me blossom as a person, and my love for acrobatics and circus continued to grow. At 19, I met Froukje, and we started practicing acrobatics together. After a few years, we began performing at festivals, which eventually grew into our own shows and circus playgrounds. In the meantime, my interests have expanded to include dance, theater, contact improvisation, clowning, and contact juggling. My wish is to touch and connect with many people through my passion for the circus and to share a touch of magic.

What started as a childhood dream grew into my profession. From a young age, I was fascinated by the magical world of the circus. That fascination marked the beginning of my own journey as a circus artist. I spent my youth in the gym, training in circus arts and acrobatics.
Throughout my circus career, I have had the privilege of performing in various countries, including Dubai, China, Mexico, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the USA, and many more. But what I truly enjoy most is my acrobatic partnership as Upside Down Acro with Nick Vos.
Through years of training, international workshops, and intensive acrobatic courses, I have further developed my technique and artistic style. I met Nick at a young age. Together, we have spent years training, experimenting, and evolving as artists. It is special to see how our shared passion has led to the performances we create together today.
For me, every performance is a new opportunity to amaze people and leave a lasting impression.
